Dr Asif Zaman, PhD
Associate Professor | Academic Leader | Corporate Trainer | Consultant | Author
Dr Asif Zaman, PhD, is an Associate Professor and Head of the Department of Accounting, Economics and Finance at Cardiff Metropolitan University, and the Founder and Director of BIPE Consulting Ltd.
He holds a PhD in Islamic Banking, specialising in Sustainable Capital Structure Management, and an MBA from the University of Wales. He is also a Certified Islamic Finance Executive (CIFE), Certified Management & Business Educator (CMBE), Fellow of the UK Higher Education Academy (FHEA), and Academic Fellow of the Association of International Accountants (FAIA).
With more than 20 years of teaching and professional practice, Dr Zaman has worked with organisations across the UK and Middle East, including in Islamic finance and Saudi corporate training.
His academic and professional experience provides the foundation for BIPE’s postgraduate education, professional development and corporate consultancy services.
